Cicero wrote, "To add a library to a house is to give that house a soul," and I believe that the same goes for school libraries. The school library is truly the soul of the school, housing information, ideas, thought, and the opportunity for collaboration. It is, then, with reverence and a sense of responsibility to students, staff, and parents, that I approach my profession as school librarian.
